And it's off

 So for the last 3 weeks i've been hiding my finger in shame. it's honestly been disgusting looking like my finger is gross and dead where I sliced it. it's looked awful. i've been keeping it dry, not submerging it in a pool even though that was impossible sometimes, no baths and patting it dry anytime it's gotten wet, no soap or lotions. I've been the model care for my wound patient. 

Except for just now. I got in the pool earlier so i got out and took off the band aid. still grossness. well i started knitting. my size 2 needle just got it right in the spot and poof popped the dead skin/glue right off. and now i have a just scared bit of finger that i tried to take off! Yay! no more ugly bandaids!

I'm still working on my Red, White and Blue July socks. I'm not really in love love with this colorway. so Angela had the awesome idea of doing a solid blue heel. 

I think they'll turn out great. I'm just ready to get them done. I have so many amazing things in my que I'm ready to knit!

I also cast on The Golden Hour . I wasn't really happy with my color choices so I'm doing the main color in white, and then each section will be a different coordinating color. we will see how it goes.
