Thanksgiving and Black Friday

  Well Thanksgiving was amazing. We were out all night. 

Sadly on Wednesday morning we had a covid scare in our office. One of the guys tested positive. So that was fun. So far no one else in the office has tested positive, and luckily he has a very mild case. But I did have to tell everyone we were having dinner with about it so we could make an informed decision. Since I didn't have direct contact with him or anyone near him cause i'm in the office like an hour if that, we decided to go. It was a lot of fun, but man was I wiped. It probably didn't help that Tom and I were up til 4:30 am playing Taboo on Saturday. We're so wild.

I really hope my energy level re-emerges again. I slept til 12 today, and most of yesterday. I finally felt like the trees and Christmas shenanigans needed to happen. So I got myself up. I got three trees up. 4 more to go. 

I'm hosting Christmas dinner. I've decided to go traditional English. I'm going to do Roast Beef with veggies and a big tray of homemade cookies for dessert. It's going to be spectacular.  Here's my Pinterest Board full of ideas about my menu. 

I'm not a big black friday shopper. It doesn't appeal to me. Too many shenanigans and honestly there's nothing I need that badly that I need to hurt people to get to something. However I like having that option. Sadly at 2:15 am on Thursday someone hacked into my Jane.com account (which is linked to my paypal account) and decided to buy themselves a Macbook Pro. Luckily because I got up at 5:15am Friday, caught it and was able to get the order canceled and refunded to my account. Sadly that did not stop my bank from taking out the funds. So now I'm just waiting for the refund. Hopefully tomorrow, maybe by Wednesday? Like then they left the address on where it's getting shipped to on the account, and then I was able to track them down and send them a lovely message. They are lucky we had money. I mean yeah I had to hold off shopping but Tom and I were able to just move some money around and be fine. It would be awful if they did that to someone who wouldn't have been okay. Sometimes people just suck. 

This will be a busy week at work. Plus all the stuff going on in the house and the decorating and planning and shopping. It's going to be crazy but I love it.
