Finally!

  So the Election is over and done. Looks like Donald lost. I'm glad to finally have someone less awful in the White House. I feel like my attitude has suffered and I'm hoping to go back to finding that be kind happy, and glitter Amy again. Cause this girl got put in facebook jail for a day for calling someone out on their bullshittery. I hate that the bullies always win. I feel like I just hate the injustices of the world and it really pisses me off. I'm supposed to be the better person, that's what Jesus says, but sometimes you just gotta shank a bitch in the kidney. (don't actually shank bitches btw, I'm speaking metaphorically here)

Todays goal was to make cookies and do some embroidery and laundry. I seriously hate laundry. But then I got motivated to put together the last of the ikea bookcases. So getting my office ready to work in on monday has become top priority. 

I thought my yarn was a mess, this shelf replaced a bookcase and a dresser. I still need to find stackable storage containers and some better paper storage for the Kallax, but overall it's starting to feel less in shambles. 

Next weekend I tackle the craft closet. honestly, I really wanted to turn that into where my work desk and desktop are and make like a separate space, but then I just started to think about it more and I'd spend the whole day in this cramped little space and it would give me a complex. So that plan was nixed. There's just not a good space for my computer because of the two monitors. It's gotta either be an L shaped or against a wall. I spent a ridiculous amount of time on the floor plan on the Ikea Planner Site. If you have never used it and are planning Ikea purchases, it's worth taking a look and setting up an account. Because all of my office furniture was from Ikea I was able to use it very effectively even when my husband was doubting things were going to fit. Now that everything is all put together and the only thing I'm missing is the desk that i cannot decide on the situation, I'm going to start putting together all the little stuff. Organizing the stuff in the baskets and the paper storage (things like that) I feel like it's going to take years. It probably will lol
