The First of November
Well we set the clocks back an hour, and I woke up with all this motivation to put up the jack-o-lanterns and garland. Except then I went outside and it apparently poured down rain overnight. So not so much. Then I went back and vegged in bed. So I've done nothing but watch men in black 3 and snuggle puppies and do work paperwork.
I'm doing work paperwork because I got an amazing raise on Thursday. I am so excited about my life. It was unexpected and my bosses did it in a magical way. I got a request for a zoom meeting for a new payment system we are implementing at work. Which was expected, and so when I got into the meeting they were like poof! It's the kind of life changing raise too. Things are already pretty good on that front for us, so this is just even better! More crafts! More Tieks and More Kate Spade for Amy. Also More savings and vacay's. Because this year we had to cancel every single trip and I swear to you, after coronavirus is over and done with, I am going to go back to being the social butterfly plans every weekend, going out and doing at least one thing once a week. This has been the suck.
Halloween was actually kind of nice. We didn't do trick-or-treating, we just got a big pizza and lit candles and snuggled on the couch and watched scary movies all night. Driving through the neighborhood on our way home from pizza pickup, there were a lot of trick-or-treaters and a lot of people giving out candy. Which was awesome, but we just can't risk it because of me.
With our Ring out of order anyways it seemed acceptable (I'm still big mad about that btw)
Roscoe had an amazing birthday. And Max and Him have been tuckered out all weekend.
I took Friday off for puppy shenanigans and it was a nice three day weekend.
