Thanksgiving Weekend Prep
So no matter what, the weekend before Thanksgiving is spent cleaning and "Christmas Prep" Basically getting everything together enough so that I can completely destroy it next weekend.
This weeks to-do list seems ridiculous even to me, so I'm glad I have the rest of the day to sort of get things together.
- I need to make 4 non-Christmas masks
- I need to make Christmas Masks
- I need to get Kim's birthday gift together
- I need to work on Christmas Presents
- I need to make 9 Christmas Wreaths and then figure out how to hang the ones upstairs
- I need to mail the broken Ring doorbell back
- I need to get Thanksgiving menu down
- I need to start sewing a quilt
- Work
- Thanksgiving dinner baking
- Christmas Ornament start (there's like 5 Christmas themes I'm working with)
So this years themes for the Rooms in my house are
Entryway - Gold and Magnolias
Living Room - Traditional Family Fun
Kitchen - Merry and Bright
Dining Room - Farmhouse Christmas
Bedroom - Blue and Champagne
yes, I have a lot of Christmas cheer; And a lot of Christmas trees. And dishes and signs and fun. Halloween and Christmas are my two favorite times of year. There will be pictures and I'm trying to convince myself that my breakfast nook does not need a Christmas tree.
I also have to figure out a centerpiece for the breakfast table. There's usually so much food that we have to cover the whole thing. So it's got to be super simple and cute.
