Our First Friday Date Night!

  Every Friday night, Dr Tom and I have a date night. 

We do all sorts of stuff. Obviously with Covid we've been doing date night at home (like everything else) but this was the end of my 2 weeks after my second vaccine shot and Tom had the one dose one, so we are all set to party like the middle aged people that we are. 

This friday was also the start of season three of Joe Bob's Last Drive-In Show . One of the things that Dr Tom and I have in common is our love of horror movies. Gory, Cheesy, Classic we love them all. So we do subscribe to Shudder. It's great. Worth every penny. AMC if you are reading this, thank you for this treasure. 

So this friday, Tom canceled his afternoon class, and we went and had Mexican food at our favorite Mexican Restaurant, Azteca. We went at what we like to call "Old people time" to avoid the Friday night crowd. It was so nice to have someone bring me chips and salsa and not get a sassy attitude when I asked for a drink (cough cough Tom) Then we went home and watched Joe Bob. Sadly Joe Bob starts at 9 and goes til about 2:30am and that's a tough run for me. I'm usually asleep by the middle of the second movie if I even make it that far. 

It was so funny that we could do anything we wanted and yet we really just wanted to stay in and watch this. It's just that great.
