it was just time for another er visit apparently...

let's just start out by saying that I ABSOLUTELY hate needles. Unfortunately, I have seriously lost count with the amount of times I've been IV'd, had blood drawn, or been stuck with a needles.

for a bit I've been having sharp pains on my side (since probably mid may) and I brought it up with the Dr. and he said, "oh, it's probably just pain from nerves healing, it'll go away eventually) today however, it got worse. so much so that i was nauseous and had some crazy sharp stabby pains where my spleen was. So I called the Dr's office (I currently am a patient of 3) I got a "call your surgeon" from the first, the surgeon advised me to call me GP, and my GP who I spent almost 45 minutes trying to get to an actual person, advised me that I should call the surgeon. Seriously. WHAT THE HECK. So at this point, I start to run a small low grade fever and get the chills. I leave work, and off I go to the ER.

the people at the ER are sort of fantastic. Like I might have had a 15 minute wait. when does that ever happen. After poking me a bit, I got sent off to my second CT scan of the year. And as she was wheeling me back, I had this horrible flashback of coming back to the room to hearing I had cancer. Never want to relive that moment again. this time however, the nurse came in and gave me a pain pill and I was left to nap. turns out i'm just having nerve pain from surgery. From what i can tell, it could go on forever, or stop tomorrow. blarg
